Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Emirates Council for Balanced Development (ECDD) is participating in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 with a dedicated pavilion showcasing a comprehensive portfolio of development programs and projects implemented across the UAE. These initiatives aim to enhance the quality of life in Emirati villages and promote inclusive and balanced development, particularly in rural areas.
The Council’s pavilion offers visitors a comprehensive overview of its economic, social, cultural, and tourism initiatives. These initiatives include rural development projects, support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in villages, and the empowerment of local industries and rural products. Furthermore, the pavilion features initiatives that promote sustainability and reliance on local resources.
Through its participation in this global event, the Council focuses on transforming rural areas into sustainable economic and tourism destinations. This is achieved by developing integrated facilities that create new economic opportunities for residents.
