Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, today inspected the progress of work on the Sila Residential City project and the Baaya Sila Infrastructure project.
He stressed that providing an integrated residential environment enhances family and social stability for citizens.
This comes at the heart of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.
His Highness was accompanied during the tour by His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities
and Transport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority,
His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in Al Dhafra,
Also present was His Excellency Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General
of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, along with a number of senior officials.
Project completion in accordance with Abu Dhabi’s vision
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed stressed the importance of adhering to the highest standards in implementing housing projects.
Providing modern, integrated housing that meets the needs of Emirati families.
It also contributes to achieving sustainable social development and enhancing the quality of life.
He stressed the need to adhere to timelines to ensure the completion of projects.
This is in line with Abu Dhabi’s vision of developing sustainable and interconnected residential communities.
The Al-Silaa residential city project includes 108 residential units with an area of 505 square meters each.
This is on a total area of 29.7 hectares, at a cost exceeding 507 million dirhams.
It enhances urban expansion plans
The project includes integrated community and service facilities, including a mosque,
a public park and a shopping complex, and is expected to be completed in February 2027.
In contrast, the Baaya Al-Sila’a residential land development project includes the development
of 104 residential plots on a total area of 29.8 hectares, and is expected to be completed in February 2026.
This is to enhance urban expansion plans and provide diverse housing options for citizens in the Al Dhafra region.
His Highness stressed that these projects represent a fundamental pillar
in promoting family and social stability, and providing a decent life for citizens.
He pointed to its role in supporting sustainable development strategies
and achieving the aspirations of Emirati families towards a balanced and sustainable future.
