Cairo, Egypt – Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, opened the activities of the Egyptian Defense Exhibition 2025 on Monday.
The exhibition is one of the most important platforms specialized in defense and security industries in the region.
It also witnesses a wide presence of official and military delegations and major international companies.
As part of his inaugural tour, he visited the UAE pavilion participating in the exhibition, which is organized by the ADNEC Group with the support of the Balance Council for Defense Empowerment and the Ministry of Defense.
The pavilion includes a group of leading national companies in the fields of defense and security.
They are the Balance Council for Defense Empowerment, Edge Group, Caldes, GAL, and AMRC, in addition to the “IDEX” and “NAFDEX” exhibitions.
Emirati companies showcased their latest advanced defense solutions and innovative technologies in the areas of operational excellence, air and land systems.
In addition to cybersecurity, maintenance and technical support, and advanced military manufacturing.
Reflecting the depth of defense cooperation between the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the growing partnership between them.
Visitors praised the advanced level of organization of the UAE pavilion, and the great development witnessed by the national defense industries.
In addition to the UAE’s pivotal role in supporting defense innovation and developing advanced industries.
The activities of the first day witnessed the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding with leading Egyptian institutions in the defense industries sector.
It included Amrak signing three memorandums of understanding with the aircraft factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the engine factory, the digital manufacturing center, and the Helwan Advanced Industries Factory.
Two memorandums were also signed between Gal Company and the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Airlines Group and the Arab Organization for Industrialization signed six memorandums of understanding during the first day of the exhibition.
These memorandums aim to enhance industrial and defense cooperation between the two sides, and exchange experiences.
