Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Emirates Airlines intends to operate its newest aircraft, the Airbus A350, on all seven of its weekly flights to Baghdad.
Starting from January 1, 2026.
The carrier said in a statement that the Airbus A350 will replace the Boeing 777, which the carrier currently operates four times a week on flights AK 943 and AK 944.
This allows customers to enjoy the latest cabins and ensures a more consistent travel experience on all flights.
The A350 aircraft operates on all weekly flights to and from Baghdad.
As part of Emirates Airlines’ commitment to strengthening its lasting promise to provide a travel experience with “permanent distinction”.
The aircraft includes three classes, including 32 seats that can be converted into fully flat beds with a distribution of (1-2-1) in business class.
In addition to 21 seats with a distribution of (2-3-2) in the premium economy class, and 259 seats in the economy class with a distribution of (3-3-3).
The aircraft also provides an advanced entertainment experience, thanks to the world’s award-winning Air Entertainment System (ICE).
In addition to wider corridors, quieter cabins, and a lighting system designed to mitigate the effects of jet lag.
The allocation of Airbus A350 aircraft to all Baghdad flights confirms Emirates’ long-standing commitment to Iraq and the region.
The plane began work on this line last August, on flights AK 941 and AK 942.
