Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Wego, a company specializing in the online travel services sector, confirmed that Dubai continues to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the world.
This is in light of the strong growth in demand for visiting it during the current winter season.
She pointed out that during the period from October 1 to November 18, 2025, reservations to Dubai recorded an increase of 38%, compared to the same period last year.
Wego’s Chief Business Officer, Mamoun Humaidan, said: “(Wego) data indicates that India tops the list of countries in terms of the number of searches for the Emirates during the month of November, representing 30% of the total market share, followed by Egypt with 13.4%, and Saudi Arabia with 12.3%. Countries such as Pakistan and the United States have also witnessed remarkable growth rates, indicating a significant increase in demand for travel from these markets.
Humaidan explained, “During the winter, Dubai offers a diverse range of activities that meet different tastes and age groups”. Desert activities that offer desert safaris include power skiing, sandboarding, falconry shows, and Bedouin dinners under the stars. Marine activities allow visitors to take yacht tours, dive and sail on Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah or watch the sunset from Dubai Creek.
Dubai Shopping Festival
Humaidan explained that in the winter season, Dubai turns into a destination full of international shows and events that make it the capital of tourism and entertainment in the region.
This season will witness the launch of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which takes place between December and January.
It is considered one of the largest shopping festivals in the world, offering discounts of up to 75% in major centers.
Along with musical performances, fireworks and daily raffles.
Humaidan pointed out that “Dubai represents a model of global cultural diversity, with more than 200 nationalities living there, which is reflected in its modern character”. This diversity is evident in the cuisine, events and arts that the city hosts throughout the year. In addition to its innovative projects such as the Museum of the Future, Ain Dubai, and Al Seef District, the emirate continues to develop sustainability initiatives to become a leading destination for responsible and smart tourism.
