Rabat, Morocco – The UAE participates in the 14th International Dates Forum.
It was launched on Wednesday under the patronage of King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco, and will continue until November 2, 2025 in the Moroccan city of Erfoud.
This is under the slogan “Sustainable management of water resources: the basis for the development of date palms and oases”.
The conference is organized by the International Date Forum Association and the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests.

The forum was attended by Ahmed Al-Bouari, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests of the Kingdom of Morocco, and Professor Dr. Abdel Wahab Al-Bukhari Zaid, Secretary-General of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, affiliated with the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation at the Presidential Office, which has been participating in the forum since its founding in 2010 for a period of 14 years in a row.
This year’s UAE pavilion at the forum witnessed a distinguished attendance, including 20 pavilions and 40 exhibitors from six countries representing government institutions, private companies, and civil society organizations working in palm cultivation and date production and processing.
Among them are 6 wings from the state, and wings each from the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the United Mexican States, and the Republic of Turkey.
The UAE pavilion presented a variety of the finest Emirati date varieties, along with technical presentations on climate-smart agriculture, sustainable irrigation, water resource management, and opening new horizons for scientific cooperation between farmers, researchers, and investors.
