Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Dubai basketball team concludes its October EuroLeague campaign with a match against Valencia of Spain on Thursday at the Roig Arena in Valencia, as part of the eighth round of the tournament.

The team had lost yesterday to Spanish side Baskonia 85-92 in a hard-fought match held in Vitoria as part of the seventh round. The team maintained a close performance until the final minutes, despite some periods of decline.

Philip Petrushev led Dubai’s scoring with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Davis Bertans added 19 points, and McKinley Wright contributed 13 points and 6 assists.

On another note, the European Basketball Federation announced a change to the Dubai Club’s schedule for November. The team will play eight games in the EuroLeague and the Adriatic League (ABA). Five of these games will be played at their home arena, the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, following their return from a match against Valencia.

Dubai will begin their home campaign against Serbian side Partizan Belgrade on November 3 in the Adriatic League. They will then face SC Derby on November 9, followed by three EuroLeague fixtures: against Red Star Belgrade on November 11, Žalgiris Kaunas on November 14, and Paris FC on November 25.
