Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Dubai basketball team will conclude its journey in October in the European League, by facing the Spanish team Valencia, on Thursday, at the “Roig Arena” in Valencia, as part of the eighth round of the tournament.
On Tuesday, the team lost to Spain’s Baskonia with a score of 85-92 in a strong match held in Vitoria in the seventh round, during which it performed closely until the final minutes despite some periods of decline.
Philip Petrushev topped Dubai’s top scorers list with 22 points and 7 rebounds.
Davis Bertans scored 19 points, and McKinley Wright scored 13 points and 6 assists.
The European Basketball Federation announced that the dates of Dubai Club matches will be changed next November.
The team plays 8 matches in the EuroLeague and the Adriatic League (ABA).
Among them are 5 matches at its home stadium, Coca-Cola Arena, in Dubai, after returning from facing Valencia.
Dubai will start its home matches against Serbian Partizan on November 3 in the Adriatic League.
SC will then face Derby on November 9, then 3 EuroLeague matches against Cervina Zvezda on November 11, Zalgiris Kaunas on November 14, and Paris on November 25.
