Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South announced, on Wednesday, the expansion of “airline maintenance unit” facilities.

With the aim of supporting airport operators, including private aviation ground operators, by providing direct access to their customers.

Under this expansion, the number of maintenance units increased to 11, covering a total area of 76,000 square feet.

These units are designed to be an integrated solutions center in the aviation sector.

It will provide a wide range of services, including warehouses for storage and maintenance, specialized technical equipment, and engineering support.

Along with a world-class rest area for pilots.

The facilities will also include dedicated shaded parking lots, offices, and a number of additional features specifically designed to meet sector requirements.

Construction work is scheduled to be completed during the third quarter of 2026.

Mohammed Al Falasi, Deputy Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, said that the expansion of the project’s services came to meet the increasing demand from companies for airline maintenance services.
