Promising Opportunity

His Excellency pointed out that the BRIDGE Summit, scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10, represents a significant opportunity to unify the efforts of media professionals, creatives, and content creators under one umbrella, presenting the world with a model of media based on positive influence. He called on everyone to seize this opportunity to enhance the presence of Emirati media at the summit.

His Excellency revealed the launch of the National Blogger Council, which will include everyone, with the aim of unifying the national discourse, strengthening national identity, and highlighting achievements. It will also work to combat rumours and media misinformation.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Jamal Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Director General of the National Media Office, emphasized in his speech during the honoring ceremony that this celebration comes in recognition of the contributions of media professionals and content creators who have contributed to strengthening the UAE’s presence on the regional and international arenas. He pointed out that supporting media talent is an integral part of a national vision that believes that meaningful communication is one of the most important tools for influencing and enhancing the UAE’s global reputation.

His Excellency continued: “Today, we honor the creators of the word, those who go beyond news coverage or the provision of abstract information, but rather actively contribute to building community awareness, instilling values of belonging, and enlightening minds at a time when narratives are crowded and the need for national voices capable of facing various challenges with confidence and steadfastness is on the rise.”

His Excellency, accompanied by the Director-General of the National Media Office, honored media professionals and content creators who distinguished themselves through their influential contributions to supporting the country’s media message and enhancing the UAE’s standing in media forums.

The ceremony included a documentary film highlighting the most prominent milestones in Emirati media and the achievements made possible by the efforts of national media professionals. It also featured footage of content creators’ contributions to community awareness and conveying the UAE’s bright image across various digital platforms.
