Dubai, United Arab Emirates – DP World has announced the resumption of normal operations at Jebel Ali Port. The company confirmed the return of work across terminals 1 to 4 as of 18:00 UAE time on March 1, 2026, according to an update statement addressed to customers.
The company explained that its teams continue to closely monitor developments and are working in constant coordination with the relevant authorities. In addition, enhanced safety and security measures remain in place throughout the port. The company also emphasized that the safety and well-being of employees, customers and partners remains a top priority.

This update follows a fire that broke out at a berth in Jebel Ali Port due to debris from an aerial interception, according to Dubai authorities. They confirmed that civil defense teams responded to the incident and that no injuries were reported. Furthermore, authorities also urged the public not to share old videos related to previous incidents at the site. This is to avoid confusion and the spread of misinformation.

Jebel Ali Port is one of the region’s leading trade and logistics hubs. Data from DP World indicates that the port handled 15.5 million TEUs in 2024, the highest level since 2015.
