Kuwait, State of Kuwait – The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced that the price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil witnessed a significant decrease in trading yesterday, Monday, and the price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil decreased by $1.72.
This brings the price to $63.43 per barrel, compared to $65.15 per barrel in trading last Thursday.

In contrast to Kuwaiti oil, global benchmark crude futures saw an increase:
Brent crude: Brent crude futures rose 81 cents to $63.37 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate (US) crude: US crude futures rose 78 cents to $58.84 a barrel.
