Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Abu Dhabi Police revealed that it was able to recover 140 million dirhams of money obtained from electronic fraud and return it to its owners.

The number of electronic fraud cases I dealt with reached 15,642 cases within two years.

Abu Dhabi Police launched a new version of the awareness media campaign “Be Careful” with the aim of enhancing community awareness of new forms of cybercrime and supporting the national cybersecurity strategy through the security awareness program, which works to educate the public about the dangers of cybercrime and enhances confidence in digital government services.

The plan relies on proactive campaigns to raise community awareness about modern electronic fraud methods in order to enhance community security and proactive prevention.
