Dubai, United Arab Emirates – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, issued a decision. This decision reconstitutes the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council. It is chaired by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan serves as Vice Chairman.
The Council includes Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Secretary General of the Council. It also includes Dr. Ahmed Mubarak bin Nawi Al Mazrouei, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Jassim Mohammed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, and Hamid Obaid Abu Shabas. Additionally, members are Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, and Mr. Bing Xiao.
Since its establishment, the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council has continued its work. It organizes, implements, and develops policies and strategies. These are related to AI, advanced technology, investments, and research in Abu Dhabi.
In addition to developing financing, investment and research plans and programmes in cooperation with local and international partners.
This is in line with the vision of the wise leadership. It ensures that we keep pace with the rapid growth in the fields of artificial intelligence and advanced technology.
This is in line with the Abu Dhabi Digital Government Strategy 2025-2027.
Which aims to build the world’s first government entirely based on artificial intelligence by 2027.
Through strategic investments that support government transformation and the development of its digital system.
