Cairo, Egypt – Dr. Shafika Al Ameri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Association of Women Entrepreneurs and President of the Federation of Women Business and Professional Owners, confirmed that the UAE has established itself as a global destination for investment and entrepreneurship.
She pointed out that foreign direct investment flows to the country exceeded $45 billion in 2024.
Thus, it ranks tenth in the world in attracting investment.
Al-Amiri explained that this success was achieved thanks to the attractive economic environment provided by the wise leadership.
In addition to modern legislation that enhances investor confidence and supports entrepreneurs.
This came in her speech before the 28th session of the Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Conference and Exhibition, organized by the Arab Women Investors Union in Cairo, headed by Dr. Hoda Yassa, President of the Union.
Al Ameri highlighted the national campaign “The UAE is the Entrepreneur Capital of the World”.
Which aims to train and embrace 10,000 male and female entrepreneurs and provide 30,000 job opportunities over the next five years.
She stressed that this reflects the leadership’s vision of empowering youth and expanding the innovation-based economy.
She said that the UAE provides a pioneering model in diversifying the economy by investing in promising sectors such as technology, artificial intelligence, real estate, renewable energy, and logistics services.
She also stressed that the UAE economy continues to grow steadily thanks to its ambitious vision and infrastructure development.
