Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center will organize the fourth session of the Al Ain Book Festival from November 24 to 30.

This will take place at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, Al Ain Square, and a number of the most prominent cultural sites in Al Ain.

To provide visitors with an integrated cognitive and cultural experience that celebrates books, narrative arts, poetry, and creativity.

The festival continues to consolidate Al Ain’s position as a distinguished destination for cultural and literary events.

This is achieved through a program rich in interactive activities that draw inspiration from the city’s cultural memory and evoke its authentic values.

To address different segments of society, support the culture of reading, and place the Emirati family at the heart of its concerns.

The festival serves as a platform to celebrate Emirati writers and authors, highlighting talents in all forms of creativity.

It has become an annual occasion that highlights the bright cultural face of the city, and links its ancient past with its bright future.

Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, said that the Al Ain Book Festival continues its success as part of the centre’s vision to innovate effective practical applications of the contemporary concept of creative industries, benefiting from the potential this concept offers to enrich cultural identity.

He added that tomorrow’s festival will be a prominent example of how to draw inspiration from the components of Emirati culture in creative products that celebrate Emirati writers and authors.Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, said that the Al Ain Book Festival continues its success as part of the centre’s vision to innovate effective practical applications of the contemporary concept of creative industries, benefiting from the potential this concept offers to enrich cultural identity.

In addition to supporting the publishing industry, celebrating young talents, and addressing all segments of society.

In its new session, the festival presents a diverse and integrated group of events inspired by the cultural memory of the city of Al Ain.

In addition to literary, artistic, and intellectual activities designed to suit all segments of society, enhancing the festival’s status as a comprehensive knowledge forum.

“Nights of Poetry” continues

In its new session, the festival also continues its distinctive initiative, “Nights of Poetry, the Sung Word”, which is in line with the UAE’s interest in its legacy of popular poetry, which reflects the identity, authenticity, and aesthetics of Emirati heritage.

In its linguistic extension, it represents a treasure that sustains the Arabic language and its culture, and it needs to strengthen its presence within this framework so that its benefit is widespread and its goal is achieved; It is the transmission of cultural and intellectual heritage to new generations on the basis of language, music and singing.

Through its various activities, the festival affirms its commitment to establishing the Arabic language as a fundamental pillar of Emirati identity.

It also contributes to achieving the cultural vision of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by organizing quality events in accordance with the highest international standards.

Reflecting the country’s position in the international cultural scene, Al Ain’s presence strengthens a vibrant bridge linking heritage and contemporary creativity.

The previous session of the festival, which was held in 2024, witnessed a remarkable turnout from publishers and the public.

It attracted more than 260 applications, an increase of 73% over the previous session.

About 200 exhibitors participated in it, presenting more than 100,000 titles, in addition to more than 200 cultural and literary events targeting all segments of society.

This established the festival’s position on the map of the most prominent cultural events in the country and the region.
