Dubai, United Arab Emirates — The German Football Association (DFB) has announced that Abu Dhabi Media, represented by Abu Dhabi Sports channels, has won the exclusive audiovisual rights to broadcast the DFB-Pokal in the Middle East and North Africa for three seasons. This agreement runs through 2028.
Under the agreement signed between Abu Dhabi Media and DFB GmbH & Co. KG, the DFB’s commercial arm, live coverage will begin with the second round on October 28 and 29. This includes matches featuring Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and other major German clubs.
The partnership grants Abu Dhabi Sports exclusive rights to air all matches of the prestigious German cup until 2028. It brings the excitement and passion of the competition to football fans across the region.
Kai Damholtz, Director of Broadcast Rights at DFB GmbH & Co. KG, said:

Abu Dhabi Media will broadcast the top matches free-to-air on Abu Dhabi Sports 1 and 2. Meanwhile, the full competition and exclusive accompanying content will be available on the ADtv app.”
