Pyongyang, North Korea – North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected the naval destroyer Choi Hyun during a military exhibition on Monday.
Media quoted Kim Jong Un as saying that naval forces must be prepared to “deter, confront and completely punish enemy provocations”.
The annual Defense Development Expo highlights North Korea’s “remarkable progress” in modernizing its military, media reported.
Analysts said it was not yet clear when these ships would enter service.

Conducting sea trials
