Russian forces continue to gradually encircle Ukrainian forces on the Krasnoarmeysk– and Dimitrov/Agencies axis

Moscow, Russia – Russian forces managed to capture a group of soldiers of a Ukrainian special unit in Donetsk, a Russian news agency reported.

The Russian Defense Ministry said its forces had “neutralized” more than 1,500 Ukrainian soldiers within 24 hours.

In detail: The Russian news agency “TASS” reported that Russian forces were able to capture a group of soldiers of the Ukrainian special unit “Skala” in the vicinity of the city of Krasnwarmisk (the Russian name for the city of Pokrovsk) in Donetsk Province.

The sources reported that the group of prisoners includes a number of soldiers who were forcibly recruited into the Ukrainian forces.

The sources added that their surrender came after their combat units were completely eliminated in the battles.

Full care and assistance are currently provided to prisoners in accordance with international laws.

It is noteworthy that Russian forces continue to gradually encircle Ukrainian forces on the Krasnoarmeysk– and Dimitrov axis.

Meanwhile, the situation of the Ukrainian army is deteriorating in the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk province.

1,500 Ukrainian soldiers were killed within a day

On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that Ukrainian forces lost about 1,510 soldiers during the last 24 hours, amid the Russian army’s continued advance on several axes.

Another loss suffered by Ukrainian forces was the damage to a transportation infrastructure facility used by Ukraine’s military-industrial complex.
