New York, United States – La Gardia Airport in New York witnessed a collision between two Delta planes
The accident, described as “strange”, resulted in a minor injury to a flight attendant, without any injuries being recorded among the passengers.
In detail: The collision occurred on Wednesday evening, when the Endeavor 5155 plane was preparing to take off, and its right wing collided with the fuselage of the Endeavor 5047 plane, which had landed and was on its way to the gate.
An air traffic control recording showed a report from the pilot that damage had occurred to the plane.
Damage included broken cockpit glass and damage to some screens inside.
Delta confirmed that the injured flight attendant was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
He pointed out that navigation traffic at the airport was not affected by the accident.
