Seattle, USA – Belgium secured their place in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Senegal in a dramatic match at Seattle Stadium in the Round of 32.
The Senegalese team started the match strongly and managed to finish the first half ahead with a goal scored by Habib Diarra in the 24th minute. After that, Ismaila Sarr strengthened the result by scoring the second goal at the beginning of the second half, specifically in the 51st minute. With that, the “Lions of Teranga” came close to securing the qualification ticket.
