Lens, France – The Moroccan national team achieved a well-deserved victory over their Paraguayan counterparts with a score of (2-1), in the friendly match that brought them together on Tuesday evening, as part of the two teams’ preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
The match was held at the “Bollard de Luleå” stadium, where the “Atlas Lions” imposed their control over the course of the match, especially in the second half.
Bilal Al-Khanous opened the scoring for Morocco in the 48th minute, before Nael El Aynaoui extended the lead with a second goal in the 53rd minute, giving his country the advantage.
Minutes before the end of the match, Gustavo Caballero managed to reduce the deficit for Paraguay in the 88th minute, but that was not enough to change the result, and the match ended with Morocco winning (2-1).
This is the second friendly match for the Moroccan national team during the international break, after they drew their first match against Ecuador with a score of (1-1).
