Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa announced on Wednesday his squad for the second leg of their Champions League playoff against Benfica.
Real Madrid will host Benfica this evening at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, in a crucial match to decide who qualifies for the round of 16.
The first leg, which was held in Portugal, ended with Real Madrid winning 1-0, giving them a relative advantage before the second leg.
The Real Madrid squad list saw the absence of Frenchman Kylian Mbappe due to a knee injury, and Dani Ceballos, Rodrygo and Dejan Hoesen are also absent due to injury.
Real Madrid hopes to capitalize on home advantage and the support of their fans to secure qualification and continue their continental journey.
