Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Al-Ahly temporarily climbed to the top of the Saudi Professional League standings after defeating Damac 1-0. The match, a rescheduled fixture from the tenth round, took place on Monday evening.
The match was held at Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium. Ivorian Franck Kessié scored the only goal of the game in the 37th minute. Additionally, an early goal for Damac was disallowed in the second minute after goalkeeper Édouard Mendy inadvertently put the ball into his own net. The goal was subsequently ruled out for offside.

In another match in the same round, Al-Qadisiyah achieved a big win over Al-Ettifaq with four goals to nil.
Al-Qadisiyah’s goals were scored by Nahitan Nandez in the third minute, Christopher Ba in the seventh minute, Julian Quiñones in the second minute of stoppage time, and Julian Weigl a minute later.
The match witnessed the expulsion of Al-Ettifaq player Abdullah Al-Khatib in the 80th minute after receiving his second yellow card.
Al-Qadisiyah moved up to fourth place in the Saudi League with 53 points, while Al-Ettifaq remained in seventh place with 38 points.
