Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Shaye Sharahili, a former Al-Nassr player, revealed a surprise regarding Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the current Al-Nassr player and former Real Madrid player, during the holy month of Ramadan last year.
The Daily Sports newspaper highlighted Sharahili’s statements, in which he confirmed that Ronaldo, 41, decided to fast during the last Ramadan, wanting to learn about the meaning of the holy month and experience the spiritual atmosphere of Muslims.
He noted that this step reflects Ronaldo’s great respect for Saudi Arabia and its culture.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in 2023 on a free transfer, after terminating his contract with Manchester United.
During his time with Al-Nassr, Ronaldo scored 112 goals and provided 22 assists.
