Rome, Italy – Italian media reports on Thursday revealed that Liverpool are considering signing a potential replacement for Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, starting next season.

Salah’s future at Anfield remains shrouded in uncertainty, amidst circulating rumors and reports linking him to a potential move outside the Premier League, particularly given the interest shown by Saudi Arabian clubs in acquiring his services.

According to the Italian newspaper “Tuttomercato,” Liverpool’s management has placed AC Milan’s American player, Christian Pulisic, among their top targets to bolster their attacking options. This comes in the event that the Egyptian star leaves during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The newspaper indicated that Liverpool is monitoring the player’s situation with his Italian club. This comes amid stalled contract renewal negotiations, which could open the door for a potential move to sign him.

In the same vein, reports indicate that Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta, are also interested in signing Pulisic to bolster their attacking options, potentially intensifying the competition for the player’s services during the summer transfer window.
