London, England – Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, winger for Liverpool, achieved a historic milestone with the Reds against Newcastle United, during the match that brought them together last night, as part of the English Premier League competitions.
Mohamed Salah contributed to Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Newcastle United. This took place in the match held at Anfield Stadium, as part of the 24th round of the Premier League.
The match saw Mohamed Salah set up Liverpool’s third goal, scored by Florian Wirtz in the 67th minute. This made him the first player in Premier League history to reach a double tally of goals and assists against a single opponent, with 10 goals and 10 assists.

Salah also increased his tally to 152 goal contributions in 155 appearances for Liverpool at Anfield, surpassing both Thierry Henry’s 151 goals for Arsenal at Highbury and Wayne Rooney’s 151 goals for Manchester United at Old Trafford.
His total contributions reached 367 during 425 matches in various competitions while wearing the Reds’ jersey.
The Egyptian star strengthened his record as the player with the most goal contributions in the history of the English Premier League with one club, with a total of 279 contributions.
