Cairo, Egypt – Al Ahly of Egypt achieved a valuable victory over their guest, Young Africans of Tanzania, with two goals to nil, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, in the African Champions League.
The Borg El Arab Stadium hosted the match between Al Ahly and Young Africans, as part of the third round of the continental championship.
The match began with a slight advantage for the visiting team, while Al Ahly adopted a cautious approach. However, the Red Devils managed to snatch the lead just before halftime, with Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet scoring in the third minute of stoppage time.

With this result, Al Ahly took sole possession of the top spot in the group standings with 7 points, while Young Africans remained stuck at 4 points in second place.
