Rabat, Morocco – The organizing committee of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, currently being held in Morocco, announced the appointment of the refereeing team for the tournament’s final match, which will be between the Moroccan and Senegalese national teams.
The Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in the capital, Rabat, will host the final match of the continental championship this Sunday evening.
The referees committee assigned the management of the match to Congolese referee Jean-Jacques Ndala, assisted by Jolain Njila and Gradel Mbeleze as assistant referees, Slevin Moyo as the third assistant referee, while Tom Abu-Nigil took over the role of fourth official.
Regarding the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, Pierre Atcho is the video referee, assisted by Leticia Viana and Stefan Yempei.
Ndala previously officiated the opening match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations between Morocco and Comoros.
The Moroccan national team had qualified for the final match after defeating Nigeria on penalties with a score of (4-2), after the original and extra time ended in a draw.
Meanwhile, the Senegalese national team reached the final after defeating the Egyptian national team 1-0 in the semi-final round.
