Rabat, Morocco – Tunisia secured a resounding 3-1 victory over Uganda in their Africa Cup of Nations 2025 qualifier on Tuesday evening.
Tunisia faced Uganda at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, in the first round of the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Tunisia took the lead in the 10th minute through Ellyes Skhiri. He met a corner kick with a perfectly placed header, which struck the right post before finding the back of the net.

Elias Achouri returned in the 64th minute to score his second goal and Tunisia’s third. The goal came after he followed up on a shot that was parried by the Ugandan goalkeeper, easily slotting the ball into the net.

With that result, Tunisia tops Group C of the Africa Cup of Nations with 3 points, ahead of Nigeria on goal difference. Uganda sits at the bottom of the group with no points.
