Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi witnessed an exceptional football night, as Al Ahly of Egypt won the Egyptian Super Cup title for the sixteenth time
in its history after a well-deserved victory over its traditional rival Zamalek by two goals to nil.
This was in an Egyptian summit match with an Emirati flavor that
brought together thousands of fans in a wonderful celebratory atmosphere.
The match was part of the UAE National Day celebrations,
adding a special dimension to the sporting event.

The match was officiated by an international refereeing team led
by the Turkish referee Halil Umut, assisted by Jeyhun Sesigozal and Abdullah Bora.
