Cairo, Egypt – The draw for the quarterfinals of the UAE President’s Cup has produced some exciting matches. Shabab Al Ahli will face Khorfakkan, Dibba will clash with Al Ain, Bani Yas will face Al Jazira, and Al Wahda will face United.

The President’s Cup quarter-final draw was held yesterday, Sunday, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The draw took place after the teams qualified from the round of 16 were finalized.

The four matches are scheduled to be held at neutral venues. These matches will be played on January 31 and February 1 and 2, 2026. The venues will be announced later by the UAE FA.

Teams qualified for the quarter-finals of the UAE President’s Cup

United, Shabab Al Ahli, Bani Yas, Khorfakkan, Al Wahda, Dibba, Al Ain, and Al Jazira clubs have qualified for the quarter-finals of the President’s Cup.

Al Ain qualified for the quarter-finals of the President’s Cup after a resounding 7-0 victory over hosts Al Hamriyah. The match was held at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium at Sharjah Club. Dibba, meanwhile, snatched the qualification ticket with a thrilling 6-5 penalty shootout victory over Al Wasl. This came after the regular and extra time ended in a 2-2 draw.

While Shabab Al Ahli qualified after defeating hosts Al Bataeh (4-2), this came after the match ended in a goalless draw in regular and extra time at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium. Al Wahda qualified after defeating their guest Al Dhafra (3-1) at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

United advanced to the same round after defeating host Sharjah on penalties (5-4). This was after the match ended in a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time, in the tournament’s biggest surprise. Khorfakkan followed suit after defeating its guest Kalba (2-0), at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium.

Bani Yas also secured qualification after defeating hosts Al Nasr 2-0 at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai. This was one of the surprises of this round.

Meanwhile, Al Jazira advanced to the same round after defeating Ajman 2-1 in an exciting match held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi. This was the final round of matches in the tournament’s round of 16, which qualifies the winner to participate in next season’s AFC Champions League.
