Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The organizing committee of the Al Ain Masters Badminton Championship announced the participation of a group of international stars in the game.
Al Ain will host the tournament from September 30 to October 5.
The men’s singles field is headlined by former world No. 1 Kidambi Srikanth. He will be joined by rising talents such as Malaysia’s Justin Hoh and Indonesia’s Perdiska Bagas Chojiwo.
In the women’s singles, there are promising names, most notably Ukrainian Polina Bohrova, the US Open bronze medalist. Indian Anmol Kharb is also a highlight, being the runner-up at the 2024 Asian Championships.
In addition to Indonesian Mutiara Ayu Puspitasari, who recently won the 2025 Luxembourg Open.
The tournament is one of the stops on the Badminton World Tour (BWF). It is classified as a “Super 100” tournament.
Noura Al Jasmi, President of the UAE Badminton Federation, emphasized that hosting the Al Ain Masters on the BWF agenda represents a moment of great pride.
She pointed out that the participation of this number of stars, both male and female, reflects the world’s confidence. This confidence is in the country’s ability to deliver a tournament of the highest caliber.
