Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The Emirates Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation announced the start of fights in the 2025 World Youth Muay Thai Championship. These will begin next Saturday at Space 42 Arena at Al Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi.

This is with the participation of more than 1,200 male and female players representing 100 countries in various age groups.

The Federation confirmed in a statement that the tournament is being held for the first time in the Middle East. This is in cooperation with the International Muay Thai Federation.

He added that the official opening ceremony will be held on Friday.

Stephen Fox, Secretary General of the International Muay Thai Federation, said that the tournament will witness unprecedented participation from various continents.

Which makes it the largest in the history of youth competitions. He stressed that Abu Dhabi has all the ingredients for success in organizing a qualitative event of this size.

In turn, Tariq Mohammed Al Muhairi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, confirmed that Abu Dhabi’s hosting of this global event consolidates the Federation’s approach. It focuses on organizing major sports tournaments.
