Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The UAE Table Tennis Federation announced the national team’s participation in the 2025 Arab National Team Championship. Which will be held in Casablanca, Morocco, from September 10 to 18.

The tournament is supervised by the Arab Federation and hosted by the Moroccan Football Federation, ensuring that UAE representation is strong.

Ahmed Al-Bahr, Assistant Secretary-General of the Federation, confirmed that the team is returning to participate in the Arab Championship after a long period of absence. With great aspirations to achieve positive results and win medals, the UAE is back in the competition.

He explained that the mission includes 12 players in the under-11, under-13, under-15 and under-17 age groups, representing the UAE.

He added that the team completed an external camp in Egypt last August. The team, representing the UAE, is currently continuing its preparations with an internal camp in the Emirates.

During the tournament, players from Singapore were also brought in to increase the level of friction. This raised technical efficiency. He will head to Morocco on September 8 to participate in the competitions.
Al-Bahr pointed out that the Federation’s Board of Directors seeks to develop the game. Moreover, they aim to expand its base of practitioners in the UAE.

In addition to preparing promising talents, which resulted in distinguished achievements.

Most notably, UAE players reached 12th place globally at the junior level, which is the best ranking in the history of Emirati table tennis.

He explained that the local season will start after the team returns from the Arab Championship. This will help avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure the participation of national team players in internal events spanning the UAE.
