Gyurzamuli, Hungary – Emerging Emirati racer Ali Al Ali won the silver medal in the World Jet Ski Championship for Juniors 3.3, which was held yesterday in the city of Gyurzamuli, Republic of Hungary.
Al Ali, 13 years old, scored 64 points in three strong competitive rounds, while Estonian racer Ander Hubert Lowry won first place, Hungarian Laius Komoni came third, and Frenchman Maxime Arthibes came fourth.
Champion Ali Al Ali stressed that this achievement came after a difficult competition amidst a large participation of champions, expressing his pride in raising the UAE flag in this global forum, praising the efforts of the UAE Marine Sports Federation for sponsoring it and providing the appropriate environment to hone emerging talents.
The Hungarian Championship is one of the official stations approved within the International Marine Sports Federation’s calendar, and aims to support and qualify the junior categories, before moving on to major international participations, most notably the World Open Championship, which is held annually in the United States of America.
