Special Olympics UAE concluded its first specialized forum on principles of sports management. Held with the support of the National Olympic Academy, the forum took place over Friday and Saturday and was attended by 40 students from clubs and centers for people of determination across the country.
The forum is part of the Special Olympics UAE’s ongoing technical and professional development plan for the sports sector, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of those working in sports for people of determination and enabling them to adopt best management practices.
The forum’s themes included several key topics, most notably the importance of sports management and its vital role in achieving institutional and sporting success, in addition to strategic planning, the impact of effective leadership, and administrative organization to ensure operational efficiency in sports institutions.
The organizers of the course emphasized that this initiative contributes to developing professional performance and enhancing the quality of national sports, thus supporting the Special Olympics’ vision of improving the quality of life for people of determination and empowering them through sports.
