Sydney, Australia – Cisco Systems, the US-based networking equipment company, in partnership with Australian firm Sharon AI Holdings and chipmaker NVIDIA, announced the launch of the first Cisco Secure AI Factory service center in Australia. This strategic move aims to support Australia’s National AI Plan and accelerate digital innovation.
Advanced technological infrastructure and enormous processing capabilities
The new center relies on advanced infrastructure designed to meet the demands of large-scale AI applications. It features 1,024 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs, providing high-performance computing capabilities for handling complex models and massive workloads.
The center is also equipped with Cisco UCS servers and Nexus HyperFabric technology. This ensures network integration and secure working environments. Furthermore, it enhances data management efficiency and speed of data transfer within the system.
Customized solutions for various sectors
Sharon AI and its subsidiaries are set to deliver a suite of customized solutions to meet the needs of clients across multiple sectors. The company is a leading provider of cloud computing and GPU-based AI infrastructure in the Australian market. These sectors include financial services, healthcare, industry, and government.
Experimental environment for testing models
The center will also provide a comprehensive experimental environment that allows companies to test proof-of-concept models before large-scale deployment. This enhances application reliability, reduces operational risks, and supports the safe and scalable adoption of AI solutions.
This move is part of the global expansion of collaboration between Cisco and NVIDIA. There is a growing focus on developing secure and scalable infrastructures that support emerging digital economies and meet the increasing demand for advanced AI applications.
