Abu Dhabi, UAE – Microsoft has announced the strengthening of its strategic partnership with the UAE’s G42 Group with the aim of accelerating the country’s digital transformation.
This is part of a $15.2 billion investment recently announced by the company.
The two companies revealed a project to expand
their data center system with a capacity of 200 megawatts,
through “Khazna Data Centers”, a subsidiary of “G42”,
The expansion is expected to be operational
before the end of 2026.
The project aims to enhance the infrastructure
for cloud computing and artificial intelligence in the UAE.
Providing Microsoft Azure services and sovereign,
secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
The project is based on the highest standards of cybersecurity,
data protection, and the ethical use of artificial intelligence.
Through partnership institutions such as “RAIFF” and the “AI for Good Lab”,
In addition to collaborating with Mohamed bin Zayed University
of Artificial Intelligence to develop responsible artificial intelligence.
This investment comes in support of the UAE’s national strategy for the digital economy.
With the goal of training one million individuals in
the fields of artificial intelligence and digital services by 2027,

and companies to innovate and increase efficiency.
