UAE air defenses deal with 12 ballistic missiles and 17 drones

Abu Dhabi, UAE – On Monday, UAE air defenses detected 15 ballistic missiles, 12 of which were destroyed, while 3 fell into the sea.

18 drones were also spotted, 17 of which were intercepted, while one crashed inside the country.

Since the start of the blatant Iranian attack, 253 ballistic missiles have been detected, 233 of which have been destroyed.

While 18 fell into the sea, two missiles fell on UAE territory.

1,440 Iranian drones were also spotted, 1,359 of which were intercepted, while 81 occurred within the country’s territory.

8 mobile missiles were also detected and destroyed.

These attacks resulted in 4 deaths of Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationals, and 117 minor injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comoros, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, and Palestinian nationals.

The Ministry of Defense confirmed that it is ready and prepared to deal with any threats and firmly confront anything aimed at destabilizing state security.

In a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
