Tehran, Iran – The Iranian Armed Forces General Staff announced that the country is determined to confront what it described as “threats and attacks” targeting it. It affirmed that the armed forces will continue to respond forcefully and decisively. It also vowed that the enemies will “regret” any hostile actions.

The statement also asserted that Iran possesses the military capabilities necessary to defend its security, sovereignty, and strategic interests.
The statement emphasized that the coming period will witness a strengthening of both defensive and offensive capabilities. Furthermore, it noted that the armed forces are operating “under the leadership of Mojtaba Khamenei” to ensure they can address regional and international challenges. This is also being done to counter any attempts to destabilize the country.

The Iranian General Staff emphasized that any attack on Iranian territory or interests would be met with a decisive and harsh response. It affirmed that Tehran’s defense strategy relies on strong deterrence and demonstrating the ability to inflict significant losses on adversaries.
