Canberra, Australia – The Australian Prime Minister announced that his government has embarked on a new reform path aimed at eradicating extremism and cutting off its sources, emphasizing that the real solution lies not only in security measures but also in long-term intellectual and societal reforms.

In official statements, the Prime Minister explained that the government plan focuses on developing the education system. It also promotes the values of coexistence and combats hate speech. Furthermore, it aims to modernize the legislative framework to achieve a balance between protecting national security and safeguarding public freedoms.

He noted that the government is cooperating with religious, community, and security institutions. The goal is to ensure a comprehensive approach to addressing the root causes of extremism. He emphasized that prevention and awareness are the first line of defense in protecting young people from being drawn into extremist ideologies.

He emphasized that Australia is committed to strengthening democratic values and the rule of law. It is also taking decisive action against any attempts to threaten the security and stability of society. He affirmed that the reforms are a response to growing domestic and regional challenges.

This approach is part of a broader government policy aimed at strengthening social cohesion. It also aims to build a society capable of confronting extremism and violence in all its forms.
