Moscow, Ukraine – The Kremlin announced Tuesday that Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, will join US Special Envoy Steve Wittkopf at their planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. The meeting aims to discuss ways to de-escalate the conflict in Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the meeting would begin at 5:00 PM Moscow time (2:00 PM GMT). Putin will also attend the meeting with Wittkov and Kushner. The American side is focusing on finding mechanisms for a political settlement and de-escalating the military situation in the region.
