Washington, United States – The White House asserted Tuesday evening that President Donald Trump’s accusations that the current administration is favoring Russia are “completely false”.
The US administration spokesperson emphasized that policies toward Moscow are “clear and decisive.” He further explained that Washington continues to address the Russian issue in accordance with the interests of the United States and its allies, without any favoritism or bias.
The official explained that the administration “continues to take a firm approach” on security, energy, and sanctions issues. He considered Trump’s accusations “merely political claims unsupported by facts.”
He added that the White House “will not be drawn into electioneering.” He emphasized that his focus is on managing foreign affairs according to what he described as “a clear strategy to maintain international stability.”
