Moscow, Russia – The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that the Russian army destroyed command centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as Ukrainian military airports and institutions of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex using “Kingal” missiles.
In detail, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian Tula paratrooper artillery fighters destroyed a command center for Ukrainian forces in Sumy Oblast. “Crews of Grad rocket launchers, belonging to the Tula Division of the Northern Forces Group, are carrying out combat missions to target the enemy in Sumy Province and create a buffer zone along the border with Russia,” it said in a statement.
The statement indicated that during an aerial reconnaissance, the army discovered a large concentration of Ukrainian infantry forces in the forest.
The ministry added: “After receiving the coordinates of the target, the crews of Grad rocket launchers moved quickly to the specified point, and with precise firing of missiles covered the specified area, which led to the neutralization of personnel and the destruction of the Ukrainian command and control center”.
The Ministry of Defense explained that as a result of successful operations, Russian forces were able to disrupt coordination between Ukrainian forces’ units, and a field ammunition depot in the area was destroyed.
