Moscow, Russia – Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that his country is capable of ensuring its security and confronting the challenges it faces. He also stressed that Russia possesses the strength, resources,
and political will that enable it to continue its path despite the unprecedented pressure it is exposed to from Western countries.
Russia faces major challenges
Speaking at the United Russia party conference, Putin said that Russia is going through a difficult period.
However, he added that the country has learned from past experiences,
emphasizing that the Russian leadership is aware of the magnitude
of the existing problems and is working continuously to address them.
He further stated that the state will guarantee the security of its citizens and the integrity of its territory.
Moreover, it will not allow current challenges to affect its stability or its development path.
Confronting pressures and attacks
The Russian President stressed that Moscow confidently confronts all attempts aimed at curbing its development.
He also stressed that his country has sufficient capabilities to confront various external pressures.
Putin pointed out that among the most prominent challenges facing Russia are attacks targeting
its territory and infrastructure, including military installations and the energy sector.
In addition, he referred to what he described as terrorist attacks,
stressing that the authorities are taking the necessary measures to deal with them.
Preparing for the next stage
Putin explained that Russia will continue working to strengthen its capabilities in various fields,
expressing his confidence in the country’s ability to overcome the current challenges.
The Russian president also wished the United Russia party success in the elections scheduled for September.
He emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to maintain the country’s stability
and promote development in the face of internal and external challenges.
