Moscow, Russia – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced new territorial gains in its ongoing military operations. The ministry confirmed that its forces had captured two towns in the Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions.
Additionally, the ministry stated that its forces intercepted and destroyed three missiles that it said were targeting its positions and areas of control.
Detection and tracking of hostile aerial targets
The ministry explained in a statement that Russia forces continued their operations on several fronts.
It indicated that the recent military movements were part of expanding control
and strengthening defensive and offensive positions in areas experiencing ongoing clashes.
It added that Russian air defense units detected and tracked hostile aerial targets before intercepting and destroying them.
It also confirmed that its defense systems continue to operate against air
and missile attacks targeting military sites and various infrastructure.
