Cairo, Egypt – The Fifth Circuit of the Family Court in Nasr City decided to postpone the case against actor Ahmed Ezz for failing to pay 570,000 Egyptian pounds in outstanding wages owed to his servant, until the next hearing on June 2nd for notification purposes.
The appeal submitted by Ahmed Ezz was rejected.
The New Cairo Family Appeals Court had previously issued a ruling rejecting Ahmed Ezz’s appeal to overturn the verdict against him in the case concerning the wages of the maid of actress Zeina’s children, confirming his continued obligation to pay the stipulated amount.
Details of the twins’ maid’s wage
The ruling obliges the artist to pay the expenses of the maid for his twin children, “Ezz El-Din” and “Zein El-Din,” after the court considered the legal arguments presented by both parties during the case hearings.
The beginning of the judicial crisis
The details of the crisis go back to the fact that the defense of the artist Zeina obtained a court ruling from the Family Court, obligating Ahmed Ezz to pay 30,000 pounds per month as a maid’s wage for their twins.
