Strategic partnership and broad prospects

A regional compass to confront the “dangerous turning point”
Regional issues topped the agenda of the talks, with the two ministers exchanging views on the escalating military tensions in the region and warning of the “dangerous turning point” the region is witnessing.

Palestine, Sudan, and Libya are on the table.
The Palestinian issue was a key topic of discussion, with both ministers reaffirming the Arab world’s unwavering stance on this central cause. The meeting also addressed the crises in Sudan and Libya, emphasizing the need for comprehensive political solutions that reflect the national will of these nations and preserve their unity and territorial integrity. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continued close coordination and consultation, not only to support regional security and stability but also to strengthen joint African and Arab action in confronting current economic and security challenges. This approach ensures the safeguarding of the vital interests of the African continent and the Arab region within an uncertain international system.
