Amman, Jordan – Jordan’s Minister of Government Communications confirmed to the Middle East News Agency that his country is maintaining continuous coordination with Egypt to de-escalate tensions in the region. He also noted that the joint cooperation between the two countries is part of an effort to achieve regional stability and prevent any escalation of crises.
The Minister indicated that Jordan is fully prepared to deal with various security scenarios and developments. He emphasized that Jordan’s strategy relies on proactive preparation and continuous communication with regional partners to ensure the protection of the Kingdom’s interests and its citizens.
He added that the dialogue and coordination between Amman and Cairo includes the regular exchange of information and political and security positions. This aims to build a common ground for addressing any unforeseen events that might affect the stability of the region.
He pointed out that Jordan views strengthening regional cooperation with Egypt as an important step to ensure the security of the region and protect the interests of neighboring countries and peoples. He also affirmed that the Kingdom is committed to effective diplomacy and constructive cooperation with all regional and international partners.
